Newmeyer & Sam Taylor silent romantic action slapstick comedy ("Laughs, Thrills"; "Laughter First!"; "When your seams rip open from giggling"; "The First 7 Reel Thrill-a-minute Laugh-a-second Comedy Cyclone"; "And all for the love of a maid!"; written in part and produced by Hal Roach) starring Harold Lloyd, Mildred Davis (Harold Lloyd's real life wife; they had married during the production of this movie!), Bill Strothers, Noah Young, and Westcott Clarke. Note that this was the movie that included the classic sequence of Lloyd climbing up the side of a building, and starting to fall, and then grabbing the hands of a giant clock, and then the works of the clock start to come apart! Important Added Info: Note that Gaylord Carter was an actual accompanist for silent movies in the 1920s, and was friends with Harold Lloyd and other famous stars. In the 1970s, when silent movies had major revivals of popularity, he began again playing music, often on an organ. This window card is from a showing of "Safety Last", and Carter is prominently billed! Condition: good. There is some staining scattered in the card, but it can still be displayed and enjoyed as is.
