Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this style B half-sheet, and that was 9 years ago. The person who purchased the poster has now re-consigned it to us, so it is still the only example of this poster we have ever auctioned! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It had darkened somewhat around the edges and there were some smudges, stains, and small tears in the borders. There were some fine scuffs scattered in the upper left of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
