An Original Vintage Special Advertising Display Poster (WC; measures 11" x 17") (Learn More)

The Amazing Spider-Man Comic Strip, the January 3rd, 1977 poster (printed on a heavy window card-like stock) made to advertise the "new" Spiderman newspaper comic strip (written and drawn by Stan Lee and John Romita Sr.) in the Sacramento Bee Newspaper ("The Amazing Spider-Man starts in Bee Comics January 3rd"). Note that there is a tiny bee cartoon logo (for The Sacramento Bee Comics newspaper section) featuring art by Walt Disney! Note that we were told this information, but are not 100% certain it is correct. If it refers to another newspaper, or if anyone knows more about this poster or the Disney bee logo, please contact us and we will post it here.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: very good. There was tape on the back of the right and bottom borders, and it was roughly removed, causing surface paper loss and leaving tape stains, but it has little effect on the front. There is a white stain in the top center webbing area and some staining in the top blank border and in the corners. Other than the above, this card is in pretty nice condition!
