An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The Kiss, the 1929 Jacques Feyder silent romantic love triangle lawyer legal courtroom melodrama (about a married woman who resists having an affair with a lawyer, and there is also a young man who has a case of puppy love for her, and he kisses her, and her husband walks in on them) starring Greta Garbo, Conrad Nagel, Anders Randolf, Holmes Herbert, and Lew Ayres (in his first credited role, after two uncredited ones; he made a big impression in this movie, and was cast as the lead in "All Quiet on the Western Front" the following year)

Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a pressbook, three jumbo lobby cards, and some stills from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good. The card has a diagonal crease in the bottom right blank corner. It has creases and scuffs across the top blank border and a lesser number in the other blank borders. The card was once attached to a mat with a piece of tape on the back of the entire top border, and that tape was removed, causing surface paper loss on the back of the top of the card (and likely causing the creasing in that top blank border). Otherwise, this incredibly rare card is in nice condition, and other than the removed tape, it has no restoration or tape of any kind!
