Note that the play this movie was based on introduced the wonderful haunting romantic song "Speak Low", written by Kurt Weill, with an assist from William Shakespeare, and in this movie, it is presented really well (although Ava Gardner had to be dubbed). The poster had some faint stains and small tears in parts of the borders, and some tiny tears in the right half of the top fold. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
