Bend of the River, the 1952 Anthony Mann pioneer cowboy western ("The greatness... the glory... the fury... of the Northwest Frontier!"; about best friends who lead a wagon train of homesteaders to Oregon; along the way, one wants to rob them, and there is a falling out between the best friends; the plot is very familiar, but the movie is slick and well done) starring James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart), Arthur Kennedy, Julie Adams (billed as "Julia Adams"), Rock Hudson, Lori Nelson, Jay C. Flippen, Stepin Fetchit, Royal Dano, Frances Bavier, and Harry Morgan

Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet has been personally autographed (signed) by James (Jimmy) Stewart! Also note that this is a military one-sheet. Military one-sheets were printed at the same time as the regular U.S. one-sheets when the movie was first released. They were made to be used on U.S. military installations. Sometimes the poster has small writing at the bottom that says "For Distribution and Use at U.S. Military Establishments Only", and sometimes they just have "Litho in U.S.A." in small letters in the lower right. This is one of the posters that says "Litho U.S.A.".

Condition: fair. There is marker writing above the title area. There are tears along the foldlines and edges with tape repairs on the back that now bleed through to the front. There is some smudging and discoloration throughout the poster.
