An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Advice to the Lovelorn, the 1933 Alfred L. Werker newspaper journalism romantic comedy ("Their heart-aches were just head-aches to him!"; "I am a modern person but the man I love says he wants and old-fashioned girl. What shall I do?"; "Introduce him to your grandmother."; "He laughed and the world laughed with him at those who wept alone!"; based on the novel Miss Lonelyhearts by Nathaniel West and re-made in 1958 with Montgomery Clift as Lonelyhearts) starring Lee Tracy, Sally Blane, Paul Harvey, Sterling Holloway, C. Henry Gordon, and Isabel Jewell NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fine. This glass slide is in really excellent condition, and we feel that EVERY collector would be happy to own it. It IS possible it may have a MINOR defect or defects, but nothing at all significant. But we bet many dealers would call items in this grade "mint" or "near mint"! Learn More about condition grades
