An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Stage Play Still (Learn More) Barry Sullivan was a stage and movie actor from the 1930s to the 1980s. He was the seventh son of a seventh son, which was considered very fortunate at that time! He was born in 1912, and he had minor jobs until he got a Broadway role in 1936, and he continued on Broadway until 1940, when he moved to Hollywood, but he did not have much success there, and he returned to New York, where he resumed acting on the stage. He never became a major star either on Broadway or in the movies, but he became a highly successful secondary actor, and perhaps his best role was in 1952's "The Bad and the Beautiful". He appeared in 79 movies and 105 TV shows, and many Broadway shows, over a 51 year period. He passed away in 1994 at the age of 81. Important Added Info: Note that this is surely from one of Sullivan's Broadway shows in the 1930s, between 1936 and 1939. He certainly is far more youthful than he ever looked in any of his movies (his movie career started in the early 1940s, but he did not start getting better roles until the 1940s). Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Condition: very good to fine. The still is in very nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
