An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 41" x 81") (Learn More)

Blood on the Sun, the 1945 Frank Lloyd anti-Japanese World War II (WWII) crime thriller ("Cagney's mightiest!"; "CAGNEY... With both fists flying!"; "Battle the Japs with Cagney"; produced by William Cagney) starring James Cagney, Sylvia Sidney, Porter Hall, John Emery, Robert Armstrong, Wallace Ford, Rosemary De Camp, and John Halloran. Note that when the United States was deep into World War II, racist epithets were used against the Japanese they were fighting, and they were prominently put on movie posters of that time like this one, and we certainly hope never to see that again! Also, note that Cagney trained intensively in the martial art of judo for his role, and performed his own stunts.

Condition: good. There are creases and tiny tears on many foldlines and separation and tiny paper loss at some crossfolds. There are some creases, smudges, tiny tears, faint water stains, and many pinholes in the borders. There are some brown paper tape repairs on the back of the poster.
