Adolph Friedlander was a famous German lithographer of posters and publisher from the 1870s to the 1900s. Working out of Hamburg, Germany, he predominantly printed posters for artists, magicians, and circus and vaudeville performers. He passed away in 1904 at the age of 53.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: We could find no information about this German poster. It seems likely to date from the very early 1900s, and it shows a German officer in full uniform holding a Doberman Pincer dog. It has no writing other than the printing company emblem. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
