An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Black Aces, the 1937 Buck Jones (who also produced the film) poker gambling cowboy western ("Story by Stephen Payne") starring Buck Jones, Kay Linaker, Robert Frazer, Fred MacKaye, and Raymond Brown. Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair to good. There was once a snipe glued over the title area. There were pinholes, tears, creases, smudges and stains around the edges, and someone performed slight restoration to most of those areas, but they are still noticeable.
