An Original 1965 (from the first release of this movie in the Czech Republic) Vintage Theatrical Folded Czechoslovakian Movie Poster (measures 11 3/4" x 16 1/4" [30 x 41 cm]) (Learn More) Il Giorno Piu Corto (released in the U.S. as "The Shortest Day"), the 1963 Sergio Corbucci Italian World War I (WWI) comedy (a parody of "The Longest Day"; similar to Abbott & Costello's "Buck Privates", about two dumb guys who enlist in the army during World War I, and through ridiculous circumstances, end up helping win an important battle) starring Ciccio Ingrassia, Franco Franchi (Franco & Ciccio), Vittorio Gassman, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Gino Cervi, Toto, Annie Girardot, Ugo Tognazzi, Eduardo De Filippo, Peppino De Filippo, Tomas Milian, Virna Lisi, David Niven, Simone Signoret, Susan Strasberg, Terence Hill, Stewart Granger, Walter Pidgeon, and Steve Reeves. This was a parody of "The Longest Day", and just as in that movie, the producers lined up a large number of famous "guest stars" who made cameo appearances!
