An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) A New Walt Disney Mickey Mouse, the circa 1932 Walt Disney United Artists animated animation cartoon comedy stock poster ("Presented by Joseph M. Schenck"; "Joseph M. Schenck presents The New Walt Disney Mickey Mouse"). United Artists was only the distributor for Walt Disney cartoons from 1932 to 1934, so this surely dates from that time, and we think it is most likely that it dates from 1932. There is a blank area in the bottom where the title of a specific Mickey Mouse cartoon could be overprinted, a snipe could be glued to that area, or a title could be handwritten. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: good to very good. There is dust and water staining scattered on the surface of the glass, but I believe it is extremely likely that it can be removed from the surface by any talented amateur. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Other than the above, the slide is in nice condition.
