Hunted (released in the U.S. as "Stranger In Between"), the 1952 Charles Crichton English escaped convict crime murder thriller ("From the opening shot you are hurtled into unbearable suspense!"; "Nowhere dare they show themselves... Nowhere dared they rest..."; about an escaped killer who ends up traveling with a fugitive orphan boy, and at the climax of the movie, he gives his life to save the boy's life) starring Dirk Bogarde, Kay Walsh, Elizabeth Sellars, Jon Whiteley, and Geoffrey Keen. Note that the 1993 Kevin Costner movie, "A Perfect World", lifted the entire plot from this movie!
