eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result BLAME IT ON RIO 1sheet Appears in Comedy Movie PostersBOOK SOLD OUT The image at right appears in the book we published as shown above. While we once owned this item, we did not auction it through eMoviePoster.com (which is why no price or date is listed) nor do we have it available for purchase. Blame it on Rio, the 1984 Stanley Donen Rio De Janeiro Brazil romantic comedy ("Rio De Janeiro, Brasil Praia de Copacabana- Copacabana Beach"; "Hi Debbie! I'm having a wonderful time - Doing things I never would have done anywhere else! Oh well... Blame it on Rio! Love, Jennifer"; "You can blame the night, blame the wine, blame the moon in her eyes, but when all else fails... You'd better... Blame it on Rio"; "Screenplay by Charlie Peters and Larry Gelbart"; a remake of the French film "Un moment d'egarement") starring Michael Caine, Joseph Bologna, Valerie Harper, Michelle Johnson, and Demi Moore (in her third credited big screen role!). Note that the studio made a big push for sexy young Michelle Johnson, and gave no real publicity to Demi Moore, but obviously, Moore became a major star while Johnson's career never really materialized.
