They can be distinguished from originals by their "super-white" paper, and the glossiness on the back of the poster. The poster offered here, is definitely an original! Note that this poster has never been folded! Some pre-1970 insert posters were folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 insert posters (note that most post-1970 inserts were NOT folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those inserts). Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has irregular creases in the water between the shark and the swimmer, in the right of the water. It has a faint partial horizontal crease, running across the lower part of the title. It has tiny pinholes in the corners and a few other creases scattered in the poster (see our image).
