He is certainly best remembered for playing Ben Cartwright on TV's super long running western "Bonanza", but he also appeared in some movies and made other TV appearances. He passed away in 1987 at the age of 72. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Lorne Greene! Note that our consignor purchased this autographed item (together with many others from the estate of the late Gino Emprey, who was a Toronto based agent and event promoter. He was entertainment director of the Royal York Hotel in Toronto for many years, and during that time, he became friendly with many celebrities, and they personally signed items for him, often personalizing them to him.
