Zanuck) starring Fredric March (as Jean Valjean), Charles Laughton (as Inspector Javert), Sir Cedric Hardwicke (as Bishop Bienvenu), Rochelle Hudson (as Cosette), Frances Drake (as Eponine), Florence Eldridge (as Fantine), John Beal (as Marius), Ferdinand Gottschalk (as Thenardier), Vernon Downing (as Brissac), and John Carradine.
