8 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The Man Who Found Himself, the 1925 Alfred E. Green silent romantic love triangle crime bank fraud melodrama ("Adapted from the original screen story by Booth Tarkington"' about an innocent man whose brother embezzles a bank, the crooked brother and a shady banker set up the innocent brother and he is sent to prison for theft, but he breaks out when he learns the shady banker is going to marry his fiancee, and he confronts both and later plants evidence in the banker's house; the banker is caught but then shot during a chase and then the innocent brother marries his crooked brother's now divorced wife!) starring Thomas Meighan, Virginia Valli, Frank Morgan, Ralph Morgan, Charles A. Stevenson, and Lynn Fontanne. Note that this was the only movie that Ralph Morgan and Frank Morgan made together, and in it, they did not play brothers, even though they were brothers in real life. Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that movie paper from this film is incredibly rare. We have only auctioned four lobby cards from this title (three with the same image) and a few heralds but no other movie paper from it until we were consigned these lobby cards (and this is the complete set!).

Condition: good to very good. Each of the cards has smudges and pinholes around the edges that mostly only affect blank paper. Each some small pencil writing at upper right in the corner. The rare and complete set of cards is otherwise in pretty nice condition and the cards have no tape whatsoever on the front or back, and they never have had any restoration of any kind!
