An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Manhattan Merry-Go-Round, the 1937 Charles Reisner New York City romantic musical comedy starring Phil Regan, Leo Carrillo, Ann Dvorak, Tamara Geva, James Gleason, Ted Lewis and His Orchestra, Cab Calloway and His Cotton Club Orchestra, Kay Thompson and Her Ensemble, Joe DiMaggio (in his first movie appearance!), Henry Armetta, Luis Alberni, Max Terhune, Smiley Burnette, Louis Prima and His Band, and Gene Autry (billed as "Introducing that singing cowboy star Gene Autry", which was odd, given that Autry had made well over a dozen movie appearances by this time!). Note that this film had one of the best groups of cameo performers in any movie ever NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Condition: good. The still was used in a magazine and there are crop marks and gray paint around DiMaggio's figure and an "X" painted over Armetta's face.
