(released in the U.S. in 1980 as "Emanuelle Around the World" and in other English-speaking countries as "The Degradation of Emmanuelle"), the 1977 Joe D'Amato Italian sexploitation movie ("Emanuelle's back to take you places you've never been before!"; "X has never been so beautiful!") starring Laura Gemser (in the title role as Emanuelle), Karin Schubert, Ivan Rassimov, Don Powell, and George Eastman. Note that after the success of the 1974 film Emmanuelle, many authorized sequels were created. The success also spawned many "knock-off" Emmanuelle films, which included the name Emmanuelle or its variants in their titles for exploitative reasons, but were not connected to the original series.
