An Undated (probably 1960s) Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Dracula, the classic 1931 Tod Browning Universal vampire monster horror thriller ("The Greatest of all Horror Thrillers"; "The Vampire Thriller!"; "The story of the strangest passion the world has ever known!"; "Do vampires really exist?"; "From the famous novel & play by Bram Stoker") starring Bela Lugosi (in the title role as Count Dracula), David Manners, Helen Chandler, Dwight Frye (if there had been a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award in 1931, Frye would have surely won it for his wild over-the-top portrayal as Renfield!), Edward Van Sloan (as Professor Abraham Van Helsing), Frances Dade, and Herbert Bunston NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Who among us can afford the zillion dollar 1931 original one-sheet from this horror classic? To me, this 1960s re-release, with an excellent image, makes a very attractive alternative! Condition: very good. The poster has two evenly spaced vertical foldlines instead of the usual one in the center of the poster (that works out well, because it means that there is no machine fold down the center going through Lugosi's head). The poster was very lightly folded down the center at one time, but it is not very noticeable. There are tiny creases and a few tiny tears in the top foldline between the top two crossfolds, with a tiny area of paper loss near the center of that foldline in the area above Lugosi's arm. Someone put clear tape on the back of the top left crossfold, and also on the back of a 3" semi-circular tear at the bottom left crossfold (entirely in the solid black area). Otherwise, the poster has had no restoration and is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
