An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Belgian Movie Poster (measures 14 1/2" x 22") (Learn More) Campanadas a Medianoche (released in the U.S. in 1967 as "Falstaff" and in other English-speaking countries as "Chimes at Midnight"), the 1965 Orson Welles French/Spanish/Swiss medieval war comedy ("A Distinguished Company Breathes Life into Shakespeare's Lusty Age of Falstaff"; based on the play by William Shakespeare) starring Orson Welles (as Falstaff), Jeanne Moreau, Margaret Rutherford, John Gielgud (as Henry IV), and Fernando Rey NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster had several extra horizontal foldlines with some creases and tears on parts of some foldlines. There was a 3" slightly diagonal crease in the shoulder of the girl and some creases and scuffs scattered through the image. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed. You can see signs of the restoration of the above defects from close up, but from any reasonable viewing distance, they are not very distracting.
