An Unfolded Special Poster (measures 27 3/4" x 42 1/4" [70 x 107 cm]) (Learn More) 4th Edition Black Forest International Ice Revue, the 1937 poster promoting the 6-day ice skating/ice dancing comedy stage show revue ("Featuring champions of the world on real ice"; "40 stars of the silver blades in a spectacular skating production"; "World's record broken with 4,000,000 patrons") which was held from November 23rd to the 28th at the North wing of the Music Hall in Cincinnati, Ohio. The skating stars were from Paris, London, Vienna, Switzerland and the U.S. Note that the revue carried it's own ice making plant, which was used to freeze a rink 110 feet long and 90 feet wide. Artist: Boris Riedel Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has smudges around the edges as well as a few tears, and some of those tears are backed with white tape. There is tiny paper loss at upper right.
