The true story of Preston Tucker."; produced by George Lucas ; based on a true story about Preston Tucker, who created a drastically different and improved type of car, but circumstances beyond his control prevented more than a small number of them from ever being produced) starring Jeff Bridges (in the title role as Preston Tucker), Joan Allen, Martin Landau (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Dean Stockwell, Frederic Forrest, Mako, Christian Slater, and Lloyd Bridges. Note that it is common knowledge that George Lucas got much help from his great friend (and at that time much more successful director) Francis Ford Coppola early in his career. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this presskit, and that was 6 years ago! Note that this presskit (and a number of others from this same consignor, which we are currently auctioning in separate auctions) was obtained by our consignor from a man who was an employee of Paramount Pictures, and he was given these presskits when the movies were released. Sometimes the presskits he was given had more content than the presskits that the movie theaters were sent, and on each of these we list what they contain, so you can see when they have more than the regular number of items.
