La Dame aux Camelias (released in the U.S. as "Lady of the Camelias"), the 1980 Mauro Bolognini French romantic melodrama (loosely based on the novel by Alexandre Dumas fils) starring Isabelle Huppert, Gian Maria Volonte, Bruno Ganz, Favrizio Bentivoglio, Fernando Rey, Clio Goldsmith, Carla Fracci. Note that this Dumas novel is one of the most filmed novels of all time, with dozens of movie adaptations from early silent days all through the years!
