Artist: Frank McCarthy Important Added Info: Note that this poster, which is a "country of origin" poster for this partially English movie, is the style A British quad, which has a somewhat different image from the style B British Quad, which we have previously auctioned several times. They both have all the same information printed on them, except that they have slightly different images (with very different coloring), and the style B quad was printed by "Lonsdale & Bartholomew Nottingham", and this style A poster (which we have never auctioned before) is printed by "Michael's Press Ltd. London". Perhaps the fact that it was printed by a different printer helps explain why it is far more rare than the style B quad. We have heard from two collectors who own this poster, so it is certainly not unique, but it is surely much more rare than the style B quad. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The poster was lightly folded in half an extra time. It also has an extra horizontal fold 1/2" below the regular fold and tiny pinholes in each corner and one in the center of the top and bottom of the poster. There is some minor border and fold wear. None of this is very distracting or noticeable at all and the poster can be displayed just as it is and it will look great on the new owner's wall. Learn More about condition grades
