An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) The Bride Walks Out, the 1936 Leigh Jason romantic feminist wedding marriage comedy ("Five brilliant stars in a laughing drama of love on a budget... A snappy romance with a scrappy ending!"; "The story of a girl who married in haste - and repented in luxury!"; one of the first feminist movies!; Stanwyck gets married and her husband tells her she can no longer work, but they can't make it on his salary alone, so she secretly goes back to work) starring Barbara Stanwyck, Gene Raymond, Robert Young, Ned Sparks, Helen Broderick, Willie Best, and Hattie McDaniel (billed as "Hattie McDaniels") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the play dates section at the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, the glass slide itself is in nice condition and the cardboard holder has some minor smudges (as can be seen in our super-sized images). Learn More about condition grades
