Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock's North by Northwest, the classic 1959 Alfred Hitchcock New York City South Dakota romantic crime suspense thriller ("The Master of Suspense weaves his greatest tale... about a secret that nobody knew... a man who never existed... and a love affair that began in an upper berth - and ended in screaming death!"; "From the killer plane in the cornfield to the cliff-hanger on George Washington's nose, it's suspense in every direction!"; "The master of suspense spins his greatest tale"; "A train may be an old-fashioned way to travel, but an upper berth can be a lovely way to go - When It's Your Time To Go......"; "Breathless excitement that races from glittering Manhattan to the great stone faces of Mt. Rushmore!"; "Written by Ernest Lehman") starring Cary Grant, Eva Marie Saint, James Mason, Jessie Royce Landis, Leo G. The poster is linenbacked; prior to restoration the poster had tiny paper loss in the corners and other minor border defects; it had small paper loss in the top foldline to the left of the top crossfold; and two tears in the left center of the poster, both in the red background, one to the left of Grant's arm and one to the right, both extending into his arm; there were a very few other minor defects in the image area; all of the above defects (which are basically minor) were extremely well corrected during the linenbacking process (without a lot of paint), and the poster really looks quite nice now!
