An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Fighting Fools, the 1949 Reginald Le Borg boxing sports comedy (the Boys join together with a boxer to break up a "fight-fixing racket") starring The Bowery Boys (billed as "Leo Gorcey and The Bowery Boys"; including Huntz Hall, Gabriel Dell, and Frankie Darro), Lyle Talbot, Bernard Gorcey, Teddy Infuhr, and Dorothy Baughan. Note that Bernard Gorcey was star Leo Gorcey's father, and he played Louie, the owner of the Sweet Shop, where the boys frequently hung out, and Louie was often involved in slapstick gags, and many times Leo Gorcey would be tormenting or slapping his own father! We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: poor to fair. The poster had faded and it was exposed to moisture which has caused pretty substantial paper loss at left and deterioration and paper loss in some other smaller areas.
