An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Ravager, the 1970 Charles Nizet Vietnam veteran sexploitation serial killer crime action thriller ("Watch 'The Ravager' doing 'His Thing'."; "'The Ravager' will excite you with the way he deals with women and gives you something to think about for a very long time."; "The screen ignites with scenes of sensuous excitement and violence as you follow the strange sex life of 'The Ravager'") starring Darlene Dawes, Pierre Agostino (billed as "Pierre Gaston"; in the title role as "The Ravager"), Lynn Hayes, Ann Hollis, and Jo Long, Note that we have seen two posters for this film with similar artwork and different taglines. Based on searches in newspapers, the poster with the artwork of the "handsome" man is from 1970 and the poster with the artwork of the "scary" man is from the 1971 continuous first release. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned this poster (from the first release of this movie in 1970) once before in all our years of auctioning and that was 20 years ago! Note also that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars. Note that this is one of 58 sexploitation one-sheets which we were recently consigned (we auctioned the first of these over the last three months, and now we continue with another group of them)! The 58 posters are in separate auctions, and they include a number of posters that we have only auctioned once or twice before. There are also a number with great images or taglines. This is an excellent opportunity to add one or more of these rare one-sheets to your collection, and this consignor only had one of each title, so on the rare ones, it may be quite some time before we offer the same title again! Condition: good. The poster has tiny dot stains and slight discoloration in portions of the folds and scattered in the image. This is the kind of poster that responds really well to restoration. It is likely that much or most of the slight discoloration can be removed chemically, and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
