An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Printer's Test Reviews One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 30" x 42") (Learn More) The Purple Rose of Cairo, the 1985 Woody Allen romantic Hollywood fantasy comedy (about a character from a 1930s movie walking off of the screen and into reality, and the romantic implications of him having a girlfriend even though he isn't real) starring Mia Farrow, Jeff Daniels, Danny Aiello, Irving Metzman, Stephanie Farrow, and David Kieserman NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a very rare uncut printer's test! Before a poster was printed in large quantities, the printer would print a limited number of posters as "test" posters. Commonly, they would leave the color chart or registration marks on some of the edges of the poster, which added to the size of the poster (which explains why the poster measures 30" x 42"). These printer's tests would then be shown to the various people in a position to "OK" them, and once they were completely approved, the printer would print the full print run of the posters. Not only is a printer's test far more rare than a regular poster, but it is also 100% genuine, there is no fear of purchasing a reproduction! Condition: very good.
