Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. Approximately 1 1/2" were trimmed from the bottom of the poster, which affected a portion of the small writing below the image (see our image). The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some darkening on parts of the foldlines. It had many pairs of staple holes around the edges and two pairs in the center of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
