Date Sold 8/5/2021Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. A Special Poster (measures 7 1/2" x 20 1/2" [19 x 52 cm]) (Learn More) Mary Pickford was a Canadian actress from the 1900s to the 1930s. She was one of the top silent actresses, who specialized in playing young girl roles as an adult, and she was called "America's Sweetheart", and when she married Douglas Fairbanks, Sr. in 1920, the country rejoiced (and the country mourned when they divorced in 1936!). Some of her movies include: Little Annie Rooney (in the title role), Sparrows, My Best Girl, Coquette (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role), and Tess of the Storm Country. She passed away in 1979 at the age of 87. Artist: Gene Pressler Important Added Info: Note that this poster, which has been trimmed and it now measures 7 1/2" x 20 1/2" [19 x 52 cm], was given to customers who purchased Pompeian face cream! We have never auctioned it before! Note that this poster can't possibly be rolled and must be sent in a very large flat package, so bear that added expense in mind before bidding. Condition: good to very good. The poster appears slightly trimmed, but we don't know if it was or by how much, because we have no other to compare it to. The person who framed the poster dry-mounted it to a heavy board. We believe the majority or all of the image is surely present, because we have seen another ad from this company, and it is very similar. Learn More about condition grades
