An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 1/2" x 9 3/4" [19 x 25 cm] English (8x10) Movie Still (Learn More) The Kid From Spain, the 1932 Leo McCarey romantic musical comedy (featuring choreography by Busby Berkeley; about two college friends who get kicked out of school and go to Mexico where they have many adventures, and meet great Spanish bullfighter Eddie Cantor!) starring Eddie Cantor, Lyda Roberti and The Goldwyn Girls (who included then-unknown Jane Wyman, Toby Wing, Betty Grable, and Paulette Goddard), Noah Beery Sr., Robert Young, J. Carrol Naish, Grace Poggi (a Spanish dancer discovered by Samuel Goldwyn, who does a rumba in the film that is said to be "good for rheumatic and tired old business men"!), and Sidney Franklin (an American matador, as himself). Note that Busby Berkeley's assistant on the movie was Fred Zinnemann, who would go on to great fame as a great director of some of the best movies of all time! UPDATED 06/26/2014: Note that an advanced collector tells us that Betty Grable can be seen in the center circle at the "1 o'clock" position (if imagining the center circle as a clock face)! Paulette Goddard and Jane Wyman are also part of this musical number but we can't spot them. Condition: good to very good. The blank borders have been slightly trimmed, and there is paper residue on the back of the corners where it was glued to an album or mat, but otherwise, the still is in nice condition.
