Lawes, who was the real-life warden of Sing Sing Prison; it had earlier been made in 1932 as "20,000 Years in Sing Sing", and that was the working title for this movie until it was changed at the last minute) starring John Garfield, Ann Sheridan, Pat O'Brien, Burgess Meredith, Henry O'Neill, Jerome Cowan, Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams, John Litel, and Barbara Pepper NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this card has a stamp on the back that indicates it came from the legendary "Cozy Theater" collection! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. The card has darkened, typical of Warner Bros. linen lobby cards of this period, except for a thin uneven strip down the left edge of the left blank border. There are a few extremely light horizontal creases in Garfield's shirt, and a similar light crease in the upper left border and background areas, but they are mostly only noticeable when the card is tilted to the light. There are tiny creases in the top right blank corner, with a few other very minor border defects. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
