An Autographed 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More) Laraine Day was an actress from the 1930s to the 1980s. Some of her movies include: Foreign Correspondent, Stella Dallas, Mr. Lucky, The High and the Mighty, and Tarzan Finds a Son! She had a long running role as Nurse Mary Lamont opposite Lew Ayres in many of the Dr. Kildare movies. Note that many official biographies list her birth date as being in 1917, but when she signed an autograph on a trading card with a biography, she crossed out the 1917 and wrote "1920" above it, indicating she was actually three years younger than that indicated! She passed away in 2007 at the age of 87 (or was it 90?). Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Laraine Day! Also note that this REPRODUCTION still has been trimmed and it now measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm]. Our consignor is a very longtime collector of movie paper who purchased this item years ago, and it was signed, but he doesn't know how the signature was obtained, and he (and we) believe it is likely that the autograph is authentic.
