An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Zane Grey's Riders of the Purple Sage, the 1931 Hamilton MacFadden cowboy western revenge melodrama (based on the novel by Zane Grey; about a Texas Ranger whose sister and niece are kidnapped, and he spends the entire movie trying to find them and punish the man who kidnapped them; at the climax, he finds the man, kills him, and runs off with his sister and niece to a secret hidden place) starring George O'Brien, Marguerite Churchill, Noah Beery Sr., Yvonne Pelletier, James Todd, and Stanley Fields. Note that this was considered Zane Grey's greatest novel. It had been previously filmed in 1918, and 1925, and was filmed again in 1941 with Robert Montgomery!
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that this card has a great image of a cowboy in a western saloon in a poker hand with a suave looking professional gambler wearing a sports coat and a large diamond ring (if I had a guess, I could easily bet on who held the winning hand!).

Condition: very good to fine. There is a blue ink stain in the left of the top blank border and some stains and smudges down the left 1" of the card. Otherwise, the card is in quite nice condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored, with no tape anywhere on the front or back of the card.
