Sadly, Diana was killed in a car accident in 1997 AND Charles, Prince of Wales, is the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest child of Queen Elizabeth II. He is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history! Charles is known for his marriage (and divorce) of Diana, Princess of Wales, as well as his environmental causes!
