With writer Otto Binder, he co-created the DC characters Supergirl and Brainiac, as well as the teenage team the Legion of Super-Heroes. Plastino also worked as a comics writer, editor, letterer, and colorist. He passed away in 2013 at the age of 91 Artist: Al Plastino Important Added Info: Note that this original art, which is from Superman #95 (the February 1955 issue). It is from the 10-page story "The Practical Joker", which was the cover story for this issue, which was the last Golden Age pre-code issue of Superman comics! It has been matted and framed.
