De Luxe 1926-27, the 1926 campaign book ("The Quality Short Product of the Year") for the De Luxe Film Company. Apparently, "De Luxe Film Company, Inc." (Oscar Neufeld, President) was the legal name of Rayart Pictures, a company which made around 50 movies between 1924 and 1930. In 1924 and 1925, they made a serial each year, and then in 1926, they made four more serials, and in 1927, they made their final serial, "King of the Jungle", with Elmo Lincoln. These serials were "presented by" W. Ray Johnston, later one of the founders of Monogram. This thin 8-page campaign book is for the serials four serials they made in 1926, and each received a full page artwork ad! This serial campaign book is incredibly rare, as we have only auctioned one example of it, and we never auctioned any other campaign books from the De Luxe Film Company!
