An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Arizona Kid, the 1939 Joseph Kane singing cowboy western starring Roy Rogers, George 'Gabby' Hayes, Sally March, Stuart Hamblen, Dorothy Sebastian, and Trigger (uncredited). Note that Roy Rogers first appeared under that name in 1938 in Under Western Stars, and he was an immediate giant hit, and he made many movies over the next couple of years, and this one has one of the best images of Roy of any of the 1930s movies he appeared in! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny tears, scuffs, and tiny paper loss scattered down the vertical fold, with a lesser amount of wear on the other folds. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects (and the poster would greatly benefit from a restorer touching up the vertical fold, and it would be fine if it were done without re-backing the poster).
