An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Last Woman on Earth, the 1960 Roger Corman fantasy science fiction (sci-fi) end-of-the-world thriller ("They fought for the Ultimate Prize!"; a wacky story of a married couple and their male friend who are scuba diving in Puerto Rico when a catastrophe kills everyone who is above water, and they are perhaps the last three people alive; inevitably, the two men fight over the woman, and the friend is killed, leaving the man and woman, who is aptly named "Eve", to repopulate the Earth) starring Antony Carbone, Betsy Jones-Moreland, and Robert Towne (billed as "Edward Wain"). Note that this movie is very similar to the 1959 U.S. movie "The World, the Flesh, and the Devil" (and the 1958 Mexican movie "Mundo, demonio y carne"), which is not unusual for Roger Corman movies. Finally, note that female star Betsy Jones-Moreland appeared on stage in New York, then made a few Roger Corman movies, but then primarily acted only on TV, but she continued acting into the 1990s.
