Somerset Maugham"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; about an unfaithful wife of a Singapore rubber plantation owner who is spurned by her lover and shoots him, and then pretends it was an accident, and she almost gets away with it, but there is a letter she wrote that is incriminating, but can she get the letter destroyed, and what will her husband think?) starring Bette Davis (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Herbert Marshall (who had a lesser role in the 1929 version of this film), James Stephenson (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Frieda Inescort, Gale Sondergaard, and Victor Sen Yung

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned three examples of this scene card, and only one in the last 15 years! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. The card has darkened, typical of Warner Bros. linen lobby cards of this period. There are creases, pinholes, and tiny tears around the edges, with white tape on the back of the bottom border.
