An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More)

Little Orphan Annie, the 1932 John S. Robertson comedy ("Out of the funny pictures onto the screen... in real life"; the first movie version of Harold Gray's classic newspaper comic strip, "Little Orphan Annie") starring Mitzi Green (in the title role as Annie), Buster Phelps, May Robson, Matt Moore, and Edgar Kennedy (as Daddy Warbucks). Note that movie paper from this movie is beyond rare! Likely this is because comic strip and comic book collectors took them out of the hobby decades ago!

Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
