Stone United Artists all-star musical comedy ("A year ahead of the fun parade!"; "Original story by Frederick Jackson"; a follow-up to their successful "Song of the Open Road") starring Eleanor Powell, Dennis O'Keefe, W.C. Fields (in his final movie appearance!), Sophie Tucker, Eugene Pallette, C. Aubrey Smith, David Lichine, Dorothy Donegan, Woody Herman & His Band, Cab Calloway & His Band (Woody and Cab were billed as "And America's Two Top Orchestras"), and Mimi Forsythe NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the top and bottom crossfolds and tiny paper loss at the middle crossfold. It had some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of several folds, with pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
