An Original Vintage 3 1/4" x 5 1/2" [8 x 14 cm] Postcard (Learn More) Lena Horne was a beautiful actress and singer, and one of the first successful black African American actresses to achieve success in mainstream Hollywood movies in the 1930s and 1940s. She also had immense success as a musician prior, during, and after her movie career. Some of her movies include: Cabin in the Sky, Stormy Weather, and Till the Clouds Roll By! She passed away in 2010 at the age of 92. Important Added Info: Note that this is one of a wonderful group of sixteen full-color postcards that were created by RCA in the early 1940s. Each features a major musician or vocalist who recorded through RCA, and each of the cards has a wonderful full-color portrait of that individual or group, or each has their name printed at the bottom with an image of the RCA dog and Victrola (see our images).
