An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Black Fury, the 1935 Michael Curtiz coal miner union romantic crime melodrama (about an Eastern European coal miner who is very simple, but very popular, and he gets involved with both a pretty woman and the coal mining union, and there is a strike, and the mines' owners try to break the strike through illegal means) starring Paul Muni ("Paul Muni is the Muni of 'I'm a Fugitive'"; nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Karen Morley, William Gargan, Barton MacLane, J. Carrol Naish, Tully Marshall, Ward Bond, Akim Tamiroff, and John Qualen NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. The glass slide itself is in nice condition and the cardboard holder has some minor smudges (as can be seen in our super-sized images).
