What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tears and small paper loss in the center of the bottom blank border, with a few tears in the center of the credits above that area. It had just a few tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss on small parts of some folds. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
