She was born in New York City in 1896 to Jewish parents of Polish and German extraction, and she made her film debut in 1921, and it seemed that would be her only movie, but in 1924, she appeared in six movies, and started getting leading roles. She married actor Edmund Lowe the following year, but it seems likely she was bi-sexual, and she was rumored to have lesbian affairs with famous rumored bi-sexual actresses including Joan Crawford, Greta Garbo, and Kay Francis, but of course, that could be legend. She was well known for her wonderful wardrobe, and she was nicknamed "The Best Dressed Woman On The Screen". She went in the hospital in 1934 for cancer surgery, but it was not successful, and she died, and she was just 37. Condition: good to very good. There are some faint smudges and scuffs scattered in the image, but the still is otherwise in pretty good condition! Learn More about condition grades
